It’s a brisk fall-ish day in NYC, just before the official end of the summer celebrations, odd timing, but in order.
Perhaps nature is telling us that we didn’t need a summer this year, deserve one.

Rain rain go away
It has been raining for days here in NY.
It has been raining since the 1st Spring Fling market.
When will the rain stop?
I am happy to say that despite the rain, I have been selling bags on etsy.com and making lots of new friends.
Looks like Astoria will have a weekend market similar to what you see going on in other cool neighborhoods like Williamsburg, Carol Gardens, and Fort Greene. I cannot believe we made it finally, Astoria on the cool map.Now it is time for you to come out here and visit smartalecky darlings!

Hopefully it will be sunny, but the market is indoors, not to worry.
Just take the N or W train to the last stop in Queens and you will see us all there! If you have never been to Queens this is a great time to find out why we all live here. We have sushi,skaters,fashionistas,artists and Starbucks but the rent is still affordable darlings!

Happy Earth Day everyone, I hope you are all in your recycling place.
I think of this week as Earth Weeks so don’t mind the late posting.
I am happy that people are becoming more aware of how important it is to conserve resources and are trying to put their best foot forward(in eco friendly shoes) of course.
